is it a bad idea to have fixed gear conversions? I just want to know if there's any bad in them, because i heard fixed gear conversions are actually good in some cases. Anything helps, thanks.

when you need a cheap build/ when you want a more road fit/ lower bottom bracket

i've done two conversions myself and i loved both of them. plus it's way fun to do it yourself! Smile

I build a lot of conversions. I have some nicer bikes an yet still I ride the conversion mostly.

i ride a conversion and love it. like some people said its more fun to build and it is. had a blast sorting parts and building it never had any problems with it either fun bike to ride.
