| This is my 71' Schwinn Suburban conversion fixed with custom Ice Cream Paint job Ha!  This is going to be my commuter. I got frame for $20 on CL. I strip it down & gave it a Swiss army bicycle theme. I use Rustolem Primer on everything. The chain guard/fenders painted with Rustolem Black and frame/fork is painted with Krylon Hosta Leaf. Then I sprayed everything with clear glitter paint to give it a metallic look and Rustolem clear coat. It has the original Schwinn parts : spring leather saddle, seatpost, headset, stem, BB, crankset, grips, fenders and chain guard. I took off the stock hanlebar and put Wald mustache handlebar Flip/flop wheelset 700c/35 tires Rear rack with new Custom made Leather Pannier bag Vintage leather tool bag Bell ringer "ring a ding ding dong"  I'm waiting on my chrome bullet head light, rear rack light & fender reflector. I'll post a update photo when the lights comes in. Thanks Man! Yeah I got lucky cause the ad was on the Baltimore craiglist for awhile & I though it was already gone but after emailing the ad, this lady still had it in her basement. |
